Yoga has been a big part of my life for the last 6 years. After spending my childhood as part of the GB acrobatic gymnastics team, i knew that movement was a part of who I was. I found myself fascinated with humans and why we do things.
I studied Psychology and Sociology at university and discovered there was so much more to learning about the self. My dad introduced me to my first ever yoga class and from there I started to not only feel the benefits of the physical practice but it also really started to help me with my metal health.
From that point I knew that psychology and yoga went hand in hand and they could work amazingly together.
A main focus on the retreats and events that I host are to delve deeper onto the practice of the self - through yoga, meditation, journalling and other psychological practices.
To me, yoga itself is a journey and feels different every time you show up. Which is why my classes focus on being in the present moment and mindfulness.
